Five-day plan
- Pick your city and two landmarks. Open your city on VibeHanzi — Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, or Chongqing — and choose two spots you will actually visit. Depth beats covering every plaque in the city.
- Read the name characters out loud. On each spot page, learn every character on the landmark name — literal sense, on-site cue, and memory hook. Say the pinyin once at the page.
- Walk the scene characters. Add the gate, hall, or street characters you will see around the site so the name is not floating alone in your head.
- Lock them with a short game. Play Pair, Match, or Plaque for that spot for one to two minutes. Replay until recognition feels automatic, not until you score perfectly.
- Repeat for day-of visit spots. The night before each sightseeing day, reopen that day’s spots and run one game round. Travel-ready means plaque-ready, not HSK-ready.
